Monitor Git Tags

Monitor Git Tags is an Always Be Closing (ABC) feature that posts a GitHub issue when a git tag is modified. Git tags are often used to indicate the version number of code releases. In an ideal world you want these tags to be readonly. We do not have the ability to prevent tags from being modified. The next-best capability we have is to post a notification when a tag has changed.

This feature requires read access to the git contents of your repository. Due to this requirement the feature is not available in the “Always Be Closing Jr” service. ABC Jr only provides features that do not require read/write access to contents of the git repository.

Install Always Be Closing via the GitHub marketplace. This feature can be enabled on the configuration dashboard. Leave feedback at the ABC community site.
